Jake Bailey

Jake was born in Southend Essex, England in 1999. He attended Shoeburyness High School before continuing his performing education in London. He first started performing at the age of 5 whilst attending Stagecoach Theatre School at weekends and performed in may local shows also performing the Part of Oliver at age 8. He made his professional debut in Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury lane starting as a WWB Boy and then on to play the part of Captain in Fagins Gang. Then also played the part of Charlie Bates out in Cyprus. He then went on to work for the Royal Shakespeare Company playing Bruce in Matilda the Musical at the Courtyard Theatre Stratford upon Avon (original cast) and then transferred to the Cambridge Theatre in Londons West End. Also singing on the Original soundtrack of the show. He then became part of the team in Call the Midwife on the first 3 series. Other works include Pirate Posse in Space pirates, Brian in the Sparticle Mystery, Josh Philips in So Awkward, Leo Stanco
