Sebastian Akchoté

Working primarily as a music producer with Ed Banger Records since 2005, Akchoté has recorded many solo works, produced for other artists, and remixed Daft Punk and the Beastie Boys, among dozens more, under the name SebastiAn. His label-mate Quentin Dupieux (a.k.a. Mr. Oizo) conscripted him to both act and compose for the film Steak (2007), and he appeared briefly in a tour documentary for the band Justice (also his label-mates) called A Cross the Universe (2008), directed by So Me and Romain Gavras. Sebastian worked further with Gavras by scoring his feature film Our Day Will Come (2010).
