Biography

Sam Earle is a Toronto-based actor, best known for playing teen father K.C. Guthrie in seasons 8 through 12 of Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001), and mass killer Tom in Game of Death (2017). The offspring of Second City alumnae Chris Earle and Shari Hollett, and older brother to Lucy Earle, Sam got an early start on stage in Russell Hill at the Tarragon theatre. After completing the International Baccalaureate at Le Collège Français, he went on to an HBSc in Cognitive Science, Computer Science and Film at the University of Toronto. Since Degrassi, he has guest starred on Canadian network television (Game of Death (2017), Call Me Fitz (2010)), starred in independent short films (Aaron Mirkin and Lonely Christopher's We Are Not Here (2013), Dan Slater's Found Footage (2013)), and work-shopped new Canadian theatre (Jordan Tannahill's Late Company, Erika Ritter's Cruise Control). He played disembodied sound engineer Mike in the Winnipeg and Vancouver stops on Radio: 30's national Fringe
