Biography

Michael started skating at the young age of 8 when his parents took him to a local ice rink in his hometown of Los Angeles, CA USA. He quickly picked up the sport, began private lessons and skated for the United States for over 10 years as an amateur skater. During his years an amateur skater Michael was part of the 1998 Jr. Olympic Team, 2001 US Figure Skating Team and in 2004 MLFS Professional World Bronze Medalist. He trained under the worlds best figure skating coaches in the sport such as Frank Carroll, Robin Cousins, Sashi Kuchiki, Denise Kuchiki, Cindy Stuart, Kathy Casey, Janet Champion and Karen Kresge. When Michael turned 18 years of age he quickly became one of the youngest professional male figure skaters in the world by turning from an amateur figure skater for the United States to a Professional Figure Skater which than he started touring the world with different international ice productions.
