Biography

Danilo Mancinelli was born January 14th, and was raised in the San Fernando Valley. He starred on his school basketball teams and had a career average of 27 points a game. He went on to play college basketball but realized that coaches had very political agendas. This injustice was his first inspiration for "Foul Shot." He decided to pursue acting and began to get cast in independent films. One day while he was having dinner with a good friend, the idea came out that Danilo should write a film based on his own experiences as a basketball player. Danilo then started talking to former basketball players and got some feedback that was very similar to his experiences with coaches. With the help of one of those players, they began to write a script which led to pre-production. Danilo went on to star as the lead actor, and he also directed and produced "Foul Shot."
