In a career that began when he won the lead role in his eighth grade school musical, something that he auditioned for just to get out of Math class, critically acclaimed indie character actor Timothy J. Cox has shown no signs of slowing down. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Cox began studying acting in high school, performing in numerous plays and musicals. During this time the actor saw two performances on film that inspired him to make acting his life's work, Jack Lemmon in Days of Wine and Roses (1962) and Donald Sutherland in Ordinary People (1980).
