James Cassano

Born in Manhattan to a beatnik mother and greaser father James had an eclectic upbringing. After attending Brookdale College he received a merit scholarship to the drama school at Marymount Manhattan College. He then went on to work in all facets of theater behind the scenes and on stage in over 200 theatrical productions in New York City. Determined to bring his unique theatrical vision to the big screen James co-founded Fall Risk Films Inc. and went on to direct, co-write, co-produce, and co-star in his debut feature "By Love and Art Scarred" which had it's international premier in 2010 at The Heart of England Film Festival where he won Best First Film Director North America. By Love and Art Scarred has gone on to win a total of 7 awards in the US and Europe.
