Biography

Monica Richardson is a director, producer, activist, singer, and songwriter. She is known for her groundbreaking Documentary The 13th Step, award-winning film voted Best Documentary at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, available on AMAZON Prime, Tubi and Vimeo, which exposes the dark underbelly of America's long time revered support groups- Alcoholics Anonymous. Five years of research and investigation brought many truths to light, including the murder of 40 year old Kristine Cass and her 13 year old daughter, Saundra Cass in Hawaii in August of 2010. Richardson studied comedy at The Grounding's in the 1980's with fellow actors, Conan O'Brien and Damon Wayans. She studied Meisner at Play House West with Shawnee Smith and Heather Graham.
