Biography

Matilde Matteucci was born in Bologna, Italy. As a child, Matilde was cast to play a small role in "Musica per Animali" by Stefano Benni, but the scene ended up not being shot, and she played cards all day on set with one of the actors. At the age of 16 she lived in Vancouver, WA and attended her senior year of High School at Mountain View High School as an exchange student, living with an American host family. She later got a B.A. in film from the University of Bologna and also attended UCLA - Film & TV. She completed the certificate program at UCLA Extension focusing on acting and Film Production. She now started studying acting with Howard Fine. She is known for her work in "As God Commands" directed by Academy Award winner Gabriele Salvatores and for playing Roberta in "The Youngest Son" directed by Pupi Avati.
