Biography

Bryan Fogel is an Academy-Award winning director known for Icarus, which garnered the 2018 Oscar for best documentary feature. Icarus premiere in competition at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won "The Orwell" Special Jury Award and the "Audience Choice" award of Sundance Film Festival London. The film was acquired by Netflix and launched globally on August 4th, 2017. The evidence brought forward in Icarus through Russian whistle-blower Dr. Grigory Rodchenkov, was instrumental in the Olympic Committee's banning of Russia from the 2018 Winter Olympic Games. Bryan is also the co-creator of the international smash hit play, Jewtopia, which is one of the longest running shows in Los Angeles and off-Broadway history, seen by over one million people. Bryan also co-authored the best selling coffee-table book Jewtopia: The Chosen Book for the Chosen People published by Hachette, Bryan's feature film directorial debut was Jewtopia: The Movie which was released September 20th, 2013.
