Biography

Steven Walters is a writer, director, actor and producer from Ft. Worth, TX. Steven is a former member of the resident company at the Tony Award Winning Dallas Theater Center in addition to being a co-founder of Second Thought Theatre in Dallas, Texas. As an actor, Steven is perhaps best known for his role on NBC's Friday Night Lights as guidance counselor Glenn Reed. As a screenwriter and producer, Steven's films have played at SXSW, DIFF, Cucalorus, New Port Beach, Water Front, and BFI London among others. Steven is a co-writer and producer on the hit comedy The Bouncback, directed by Bryan Poyser, which premiered at SXSW and was recently distributed by Tribeca Films under the title Love and Air Sex (New York Times Critics' Pick.) Steven is the co-executive producer, creator and head writer of "1865: the audio drama."
