Morgain McGovern is an actress, comedienne and writer. She is currently a blogger for "Dirty And Thirty"; an online magazine. She grew up traveling across America and abroad with her family. She wrote "The Traveling Road Show of the Countess Maritsa" a memoir about growing up in a family on the run, who learn to survive by their mother's wit, frenetic bipolar energy, and clever con artistry. In the "Mad Men" era of the mid-sixties, Women's Wear Daily journalist- Maureen Smith met Don McGovern, a brilliant Broadway actor and stage manager of Lincoln Center in the East Village-who also moonlighted as a Mafia henchman. Together in Los Angeles, they raised their four daughters on movie sets and in parties surrounded by the glitterati; Jack Nicholson, Dennis Hopper and Paul Zindel- who were all a part of her early childhood memories.
