Benn Perry spent most of his childhood dreaming of becoming a professional baseball player, wearing the Old English D of the Detroit Tigers. However, injury altered the path of his career. Growing up in Michigan, he moved to Florida, where he lived from 1974 - 2005; In the Spring of 2005 he and his wife, Judy, made their passionate move back "Home" to metropolitan Detroit to, as he puts it, "Make a positive difference in the city where I spent my formative years."
