Born in Las Vegas just a few minutes after his mother hit the jackpot on a slot machine, Michael Dearmey believes his birth in a Vegas Casino signaled that his future might be filled with good luck and good fortune. To date, it appears that's exactly the way things are turning out. On his very first venture into the world of showbiz at the age of eight he was encouraged by his three younger brothers to try out for a role in his school's Christmas play and ended up landing the lead part. According to Mike, "little did I know playing "Scrooge" was the beginning of a love affair with acting that would last a lifetime."
