Biography

As his diverse list of credits attests, Michael Villar has always been drawn to the unconventional, showing depth and range in every role he plays. Villar was born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania to his mother Susan McMillen Villar and his father, Spanish native, Luis Alberto Villar. As a young boy, Michael found his surroundings constantly changing; he was raised in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa, Minnesota and Spain. Michael's only constant is his brother, David Villar, who is also a Los Angeles based actor. Michael graduated from the University of Minnesota where he majored in Film Studies, Film Production and Theater. Villar's first major film was playing the role of Leo Cottrell,opposite Isla Fisher, in the movie "Visions". A year later, in 2016, Villar showed his versatility as an actor at the Sundance Film Festival with two Feature Films. In "Carnage Park", he plays Lenny, a 70's, Ex Con, White Trash, Bank Robber. In "Sleight" he plays Packy, an Urban, Gold-Toothed, Wanna Be Rapper
