John E. Glassco

Dr. John E. Glassco was born in Los Angeles and was raised there. His father, a graduate of the California Institute of Technology, was primarily responsible for his fascination with science. He traveled all over the world during his years of advanced education. He is a Board Certified Pathologist, trained at Vanderbilt University, The University of Vienna (Austria), and U.C.L.A.. Dr. Glassco has worked in two large medical reference laboratories with a global reach dealing with cancer diagnostics, prognostics, and therapeutic testing. Presently (2017), he is a consultant in Pathology and Molecular Oncology for two medical business development/marketing firms. In the past, he has worked on many motion picture and television projects, mainly as a medical advisor but also, occasionally, as a science advisor. In 1993, he founded "Sci-Med Consulting Group", a "one-stop-shop" for medical and scientific consultants and advice. One of the first projects that Dr. Glassco was personally involv
