Biography

Nick Baker is a Los Angeles-based actor and stand-up comedian, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He credits both of his parents with diligently working to foster in him intellectual and artistic pursuits as a child. He credits his mother with teaching him the importance of hard work and courage while he credits his late father for his carefree approach to life. After attending Ursinus College for his general studies, Nick continued to follow his passion and studied fine art at Tyler School of Art at Temple University for three years, and then attended Temple University for two years of theatre work. Nick's first paid acting role while attending college was in an anti-smoking PSA for the state of Delaware. At Temple University, Nick was an apprentice at Williamstown Theatre Festival, where director Michael Greif (If/Then, Next to Normal, Grey Gardens) cast him in his production of Street Scene, in which he acted alongside Benjamin McKenzie.
