Biography

Born on the 20th April 1971, Tina Cousins was raised in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, England. Blonde-haired & hazel-eyed she first found work as a hairdresser/stylist and then made a move into modeling. At the age of 20 she found herself in a Rolling Stone's video. Her career reached a turning point when she replaced a singer in a fashion show. The lady in charge of organizing the show was rather put out, so asked if any of the models could sing. Brave Tina stepped forward. After receiving a fabulous response from the 1000+ people in the audience, her singing career was on its way. Fortunately for Tina someone saw her tape and her picture in a bin in one of the studios her demo tape had been sent to and came to her rescue! Tina won a vocal test at PWL studios and was snapped up by Pete Waterman. Her first single called "Killin' Time" was released in 1997 and was a hit all over Europe, however it was later that she achieved real global success by appearing on German DJ/producer team Sash!'s sin
