Samora Suber

Samora Suber was born in New Orleans and raised in Charlotte, NC (by way of Memphis, TN). While transitioning from city to city, Samora's creative outlet began to emerge into the form of acting. She trained and performed with children's theatre companies such as The Afro-American Children's Theatre and the Children's Theatre of Charlotte and also attend Northwest School of the Arts for theatre and dance. Samora attended Florida A&M University on a theatre scholarship but transferred to the BFA Acting program at Florida State University in her sophomore year. She continued to develop her craft as an actor, but started feeling creatively depleted. In her spare time she began writing and developing an idea for a TV show for college audiences which was eventually distributed by PBS and won a development grant from MTVU. With a new passion for writing and producing, Samora began focusing her energy into television production. After graduating with honors, she moved to New York City to fre
