Biography

After training at the Webber Douglas Academy, actress Clare Barry carved a strong background in theatre performances from the London fringe, across Britain to overseas. She ran co-ran a theatre company for ten years touring the UK, Ireland, Austria and Germany then onto the North American International Fringe Festival circuit performing at festivals in Tampa Bay, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Edmonton. After working with Producer Becky Finlay-Hall (Olive Branch Theatre Company), she joined the team at Broke But Making Films to work during the rehearsal period on Kapital (2007) as a deceased character. This relationship led her to being cast in SSDD (2010) where she created Lynn, the matriarchal landlady of the Magpie Pub, a tragic yet comical performance.
