First film appearance (Franicis Ford Coppola's) Tucker: The Man and his Dream, portraying a newshound, in a scene with Jeff Bridges. First horror role: Dr Nevin in the very low budget The Chilling which also starred Linda Blair. Born in Johnstone, Scotland one mile from William Wallace (Braveheart) monument. He started performing at family parties at six. Took up guitar at 16, sang in bands (Celtic/Roots/Pop/World music) while going through college.
