Biography

Michael was born and raised in Massachusetts, and began acting in theater at a very young age beginning with church productions. After being cast in a number of high school plays he moved out to California for college and studied at Chapman University in Orange. When he arrived in Los Angeles a few years later he began producing theater first under the banner MJProductions and then under White Shark Entertainment. As a member of TheatreLA, his productions have run the boards at the Hollywood Court Theatre, the 2nd Stage, The Complex, the Stella Adler, the El Portal, and others. Amongst the most memorable plays were the critical and box office smash "Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie?" and the equally critically successful and box office hit "On the Open Road," which garnered an Ovation Award nomination.
