Biography

Mariah Iman Wilson was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her natural talent for the arts was displayed at age two, when she began training and performing at Plumb Dance School in Scottsdale, Arizona. Later, at age 4, she showcased her talent for dancing, singing and acting at Desert Stages Theatre under the direction of the late Gerry Cullity and his wife Laurie. Mariah participated in numerous plays as lead characters and in the ensemble for the plays "Grease," "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," "Joseph and the Techicolor Dreamcoat," "Butterfly's Day," "Cinderella," "The Grinch," "Annie," "Wizard of Oz," "Barbie Beach Party," and "Ugly Duckling. This led to several on-air performances with Arizona's local media KPNX-TV 12, KTVK-TV 3 and KNXV-TV 15 "Sonora Living," as well as being featured in the local print media, The Arizona Republic, The Scottsdale Independent News, Arizona Sentinel and New Times.
