Marianne Ferrari

Marianne Ferrari is a Bronx-born, proud native New Yorker. As a little girl, Marianne heard the tale (over and over and over again) of her immigrant Italian parents meeting, dancing and falling in love on the cruise liner that traversed them to their impossible dream - a new life in America, a year to the day before it sank! The destiny of their journey and all that came with it shaped Marianne as an artist in every way. She dreamed her own impossible dream up on Tar Beach, her Bronx rooftop. The sights, sounds, smells - the entire colorful cast of characters from her Morris Park neighborhood: everyone helping each other, yelling at each other, laughing with each other, playing stoopball, stickball, handball (many balls! ), "curb fishing," the amazing Italian gardens shaded by grapevines - life so vibrant, so rich...in technicolor! It set the stage for Marianne's passion for storytelling in her highest Vision - a life in Theatre, Film and TV. Marianne has appeared in over 60 theatrica
