Joaquín Perles

Joaquin Perles was born in the Cadiz province of Spain, where he grew up in the coastal town of El Puerto de Santa Maria. He is the youngest of four siblings, with no artistic background in the family. However, he fortunately discovered acting in High School, which has been a life-long passion ever since. He studied Law for three years in the University of Cadiz, and after changing his preference to a more artistic nature he got a B.A. in Spanish Language & Literature from the same University. As evidence of his dedication to acting during these stressful years, Joaquin balanced this demanding university curriculum by attending intensive workshops for professional actors in Madrid, Granada, Seville, Cadiz, etc. He also managed to put into practice this knowledge through work as an actor and director in different companies.
