Andrew Astor

Andrew Astor was born in Arizona. The Astor family bloodline dates back to 1623 on his father's side and while the Astor family are most notably relatives of the English & German John Jacob Astor family, that bloodline also includes decedents from Northern Italy and Spain. Andrew's mother is Sicilian and grew up in the Bronx surrounded by members of "the family". Andrew became involved with acting when he was 5 1/2 years old. Andrew was always a very happy, friendly, and outgoing child and one day when he was running, around a woman asked his mother if she could take a photo of him because she thought he would be great in a movie they were filming in Arizona called The Kingdom directed by Peter Berg starring Jamie Foxx and Jason Bateman. After filming, Andrew told his parents he loved it and wanted to keep acting and in January 2007, Andrew and his family went to Los Angeles; 6 weeks later he booked a recurring role on the TV series Dirty Sexy Money starring William Baldwin and Donald
