Biography

Mike has been a professional actor for over 20 years, appearing in major Canadian (and a few American) theatres along the way. He has spent the majority of his career playing leading and featured roles in North America's largest classical theatre festivals: nine seasons at the Stratford Festival, including: Peter Sellars' daring "A Midsummer Night's Dream: A Chamber Play", Mr. Tumnus in "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe", Ernst Heinrich Ernesti (Einstein) in "The Physicists", Painter in Timon of Athens (2018), directed by Stephen Ouimette, Osric in Stratford Festival: Hamlet (2016) (both seen in Cinemas across North America), Man #2 in "Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris" opposite Brent Carver, and Des McAnuff's productions of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" (also with Mirvish Productions at the Ed Mirvish Theatre), and "Jesus Christ Superstar" (also at the La Jolla Playhouse in California and on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre).
