Azdin Zaman

Azdin Zaman is a British-born Canadian actor who has a penchant for portraying sarcastic, smart-mouthed characters with an acerbic wit. He has a passion for entertaining and aims to inspire audiences to feel deeply, while experiencing the joys of being alive. Azdin was born in London, England to a Kuwaiti mother and Sudanese father. He frequently moved throughout his childhood and was raised over five different continents, due to his parents' pursuit of higher education in the fields of Science and Medicine. As a high school senior, he had planned to pursue Marine Biology at UBC, when he was unexpectedly scouted and began auditioning for commercials. Soon enough, Azdin caught the acting bug and decided to take the plunge to pursue acting as a lifelong career. Throughout the years, Azdin has studied with numerous acting coaches - including Meisner with Jacqueline McClintock, Stanislavsky with Richard McKenna and improvisation at Second City with Kevin Frank.
