Biography

A native Angeleno, Monique Barajas, is a Mexican-American actor. Monique was born in Monterey Park but spent most of her youth in Azusa, there she would join the legendary Mickey Rooney's Talent Town. Monique along with a brother and two sisters, was raised by a single mother who stemmed from Chihuahua, Mexico. Monique was bit by the acting bug at the early age of 6 upon viewing Lynda Carter in the beloved Wonder Woman live action television series. "Her role inspired me to save the world and to accomplish doing so through acting." This new found revelation inspired Monique to put on backyard plays for family, friends and neighbors. Often enlisted the willing (or unwillingness) of her siblings and friends. High school brought about drama classes and a deeper passion for acting. Monique took a break from acting to have her only child Ryan de Long. With her son by her side she continued her education and her passion for her craft. Monique graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor
