Kathy Kolla

Kathy Kolla is an award-winning director, actress and screenwriter based in Los Angeles. She has had roles on television series including Exit Strategy (2006), City on Fire (2003) and Girlfriends (2006). As a filmmaker, her feature documentary Who Is Billy Bones? (2016) about early L.A. punk rock pioneers garnered nationwide television distribution on the cable network KCETLink. Other projects include Plastic Daydream (2018) starring Shari Belafonte, which Kolla co-wrote and directed, as well as a PSA featuring singer Johnny Mathis for the Nat King Cole Generation Hope charity.
