Biography

Cory was born in Dauphin, Canada and left for Vancouver shortly after high school. 10 days after arriving in Vancouver in 1994, Chetyrbok had his first appearance in an episode of The X-Files. While working and studying at the Bruhanski Theatre Studio and/or the William Davis Centre for Actor's Study. Chetyrbok founded and operated "Happy Bats Cinema", a Main Street Vancouver video store named one of the city's best (The Georgia Straight "Best of Vancouver"), and worked with several independent film creatives in Vancouver- producing and starring in independent genre films that won as many as 4 "Bloodshots 48 hr" filmmaking competitions. A best Actor Leo award nomination was given to Chetyrbok for his portrayal of a painter in "Soylent Red", directed and edited by Scott Belyea (whose editing in Soylent Red was also nominated, though both nominations were subsequently not competitive in the award process of the Leo's, that year).
