Biography

Michael R. West founded Cloud Thirteen Productions in the early 2000s. In 2004 the feature contracted by a local filmmaker, Satan & the Saint, was premiered at the Queens Film Festival in New York City. Shortly after, the second and much more notable, Tiny Tim: The Last Hurrah. West continued to write screenplays including Medulla, nominated for 'Best Crime Drama' & 'Best Comedy Scene' at the Action On Film International Film Festival in 2008. Zombie script, At Last Alone, took runner-up for 'Best Thriller' in 2010's festival. In 2009, West produced and directed a short, considered a spec TV pilot called Lunch, which very quickly received the 'Official Finalist' award at the 2010 Las Vegas Film Festival. While working on Lunch, West had casted Brett Leigh in a supporting role. After Lunch was completed Leigh presented a new film concept revolving around film festivals.
