Biography

Roger Bridges is a Los Angeles based actor, comedian, and writer. A self-described childhood "nerd" and one of nine children, Bridges spent his formative years growing up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast not far from New Orleans, Louisiana. On a whim he began taking acting classes for fun and eventually would land the role of Asagai in a Bay Area production of A Raisin in the Sun. The director of The Lorraine Hansberry Theater/San Francisco took notice of the actor's work in Raisin and cast him in The Piano Lesson, Bridges' first professional play. And as they say the rest is history. Bridges received the majority of his formal training at The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2005, the actor has worked in film, television, and theater. Notable film work includes Hood of Horrors with Jason Alexander and Ernie Hudson and the independent comedy film, Extra Ordinary Barry.
