Biography

Adam grew up in Mount Gretna Pennsylvania and went to school at the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Film Studies and Communications. adam harlan divides his time writing plays, screenplays and acting. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actor's Equity and has written three plays that were produced in New York City and a one-man show titled "Fools and Drunks" that premiered in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His one-man show "Fools and Drunks" received 4 out of 5 stars at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival by the website ThreeWeeks, which is the biggest reviewer of the festival. The play "My Williamsburg Neighbors Downstairs" had a nice sold out run at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre and the one act play titled "16 Tons" made it to the finals, (out of over 40 plays) at the competitive Strawberry One Act Festival in New York City. His play "bombsheltered," premiered at the New York International Fringe Festival in 2012 and received critic's pick by nytheatre.com.
