Biography

John Romeo, born in Albany, NY is a long time stage actor, 28 years as a member of the NYS Theatre Institute company. His stage career included performing in London's West End, Off-Broadway in NYC, International tours to Italy, Moscow, Sweden, Jordan and venues all over NYS. his schooling includes undergraduate Drama at St. Michael's College under Joanne and Donald Rathgeb, Founders of the famed St. Michael's Playhouse. Before entering into full time acting, John worked in many varied and character building jobs, including, a funeral home assistant, drive in movie concession worker, state wide hot-line supervisor, paving crew, and many positions for NYS offices, he even had the distinction of being laid off from his 3 year position working for the Unemployment Insurance office. He started his career with NYSTI as a theatre technician and spent a couple years as a props person.
