Katia Gomez

Katia Gomez, known for her roles as Rosa opposite Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart in Get Hard (2015) and as Nurse Maricela in Netflix's ELI (2019) directed by Ciarán Foy, is a bilingual actress originally from Miami, Florida. Her love of acting started during a holiday middle school skit, when she realized acting had to be a part of her life. On her own at a very young age, Katia worked to put herself through college receiving a Bachelors and Masters degree from Florida International University. Early in her career, Katia worked as a CPA and started a family while working live theater projects. She trained at The Second City Chicago, Act One Studios Chicago and The Beverly Hills Playhouse. Katia aspires to capture the honesty of every woman she portrays. She is especially drawn to stories about women fighting to survive insurmountable obstacles. Both on stage and on camera, Katia treasures opportunities to tackle complex roles and enjoys the playfulness of improv every chance she gets.
