Sara Maraffino

Sara Maraffino is a Los Angeles-based actor originally from New York City. A working actor for more than 15 years in both New York and Los Angeles, with roles spanning across stage, television and screen, Sara brings uncompromising authenticity and honesty to the characters she plays. Prior to graduating high school, Sara was awarded a scholarship to study advertising and marketing at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Feeling the gravitational pull of performing, she moved on after only one semester to attend Circle in the Square Theater School. Sara studied extensively, including the Stanislavski based methods of Meisner and Adler, as well Classic Shakespearean text and rhetoric and Elizabethan History. Intuition yielded validation, and so began Sara's professional career on the New York stage, landing several leading roles in numerous Off-Broadway productions, and on the Fringe Festival circuit.
