Martin Lisius

Martin Lisius is a Texas-born producer, director, cinematographer and veteran storm chaser with over 25 years experience tracking and photographing dramatic weather including tornadoes, hurricanes and blizzards. In 1993, Lisius founded StormStock, a collection of extreme weather footage on Super 35mm, HD and 4K video. StormStock material is licensed for use in movies, commercials and other TV and film projects. Lisius is responsible for photographing the first-ever violent class tornado on 35mm motion picture film (1998), the only 35mm footage of Hurricane Katrina making landfall (2005), and the first tornado on 3D video (2011).
