Biography

Alissa Collins Latenser is an Emmy award-winning producer, showrunner, writer and director. A consummate storyteller, she has covered a wide range of topics from crime to politics and health. She has produced programs for NBC, Investigation Discovery, FOX, A&E, RLTV and Oxygen among others. Her credits include a number of award-winning programs and documentaries, including "Heathline" and "Whole Body Health." As executive producer, writer and showrunner for "Taking Care with Joan Lunden," she brought home the Gracie Award for Outstanding Talk Show. She also helped develop and produce five seasons of the critically-acclaimed A&E docudrama "I Survived" and the spin-off series "I Survived Beyond and Back." In 2022, she became the showrunner for television series "Snapped" and in 2023, she became the showrunner for the television series "Signs of a Psychopath."
