Masha Tivyan

Born in St. Petersburg, Masha immigrated in 1980. She grew up in St. Paul playing soccer and cross-country skiing and was cast in the Guthrie Theater's production of "A Christmas Carol" in 1989 and 1990. She attended boarding school in Lugano, Switzerland, and graduated from Macalester College in Minnesota. The short film "The Real Masha" was awarded first place at the 2003 Drew Carey Short Film Festival.
