Biography

Born in Ridgewood, NJ, in same hospital as Robert Sean Leonard. Grew up in Ramsey, NJ, Atglen, PA and San Diego, CA. Acted in school plays and local theatre before joining AFTRA. As an AFTRA member obtained extra rolls, voice overs and commercial jobs. Parents were both entertainers. Was a competitive swimmer as a child and a competitive ice skater as an adult. Married i 1980 to Philip Kirk after dropping out of Green Mountain College in Vermont. She played field hockey while there and acted in lead role of "Dark Comedy". While in Atglen she had roles at the Fulton Opera House production of "Baby" and Ephrata Playhouse In the Park production of "Moose Murders" where the Lancaster New Era gave her a rave review stating " seeing Nancy Kirk as the maniacal daughter is worth the price of admission." Also during this time in the 80's, she and her husband were cast in the film "Witness" by casting director Tom Scott, who was a personal friend and co worker of her husband. After Tom died of l
