Biography

Mark-John McSheehy is an actor, singer, and stage director. As an actor, he most known for his stage productions in and around Los Angeles until he moved to Chicago in 1993 to pursue his degree in stage direction at the Goodman School of Drama (DePaul University) and Columbia College under the guidance of Sheldon Patinkin. He was born in Florida and grew up in a small town there until he was seventeen, when he moved to Huntington Beach, CA. He is of Irish, Bavarian, and Swedish decent. In addition to his BA in Theater he has studied under Diane Shalet (Meisner Method), Greg Itzen (Shakespeare), at the Professional Actors Conservatory, California, and at the South Coast Repertory Theater Conservatory in California. After several years on stage in over 30 productions and five years pursuing a professional career in film and TV, beginning with an appearance on LA Law in the episode "Fry Me to the Moon", he returned to school to complete his BA in Theater with an emphasis in Stage Directio
