Maya Sondhi

Maya is a Birmingham born screenwriter and actress. She is the creator and writer of ITV drama 'DI Ray' starring Parminder Nagra. As an actress Maya is best known as PC Maneet Bindra in BBC Drama 'Line of Duty' and as Shazia Khan in 'Citizen Khan'. Other screenwriting credits include 'Eastenders' , 'Ackley Bridge' and 'Mount Pleasant.'
