Biography

Peter Gray Lewis lived the first four years of his life in the Appalachain Mountains of Eastern Kentucky, where his father was the minister of a small town Baptist church. He spent his formative years in Louisville and after graduating from high school began studying and eventually working as both an actor and dancer in Louisville, Florida and Chicago. A member of the original Hubbard Street Dance Company (Chicago), he left dance at the age of 24 to go out on the road, hitchhiking across country, hopping freight trains, living in hobo jungles and working as an itinerant worker -- something he would continue to do, off and on, for over a decade. Eventually graduating from the University of Illinois and the Yale School of Drama, he then spent 20 years working in the off and off-off Broadway New York theatre scene, before appearing in supporting roles in several feature films, including "Down in the Valley", "Untraceable", "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", "Pineapple Express", and most recentl
