Tyler Jensen

Tyler Slater Jensen was born in Orono, Minnesota to Curt, a software engineer and Julie, an elementary school teacher. He has two younger brothers Christopher and Michael. Tyler grew up participating in outdoor activities at his family's lake home cabin often being seen playing baseball, hunting, fishing, and boating. At age 13, Tyler and his family were stricken by tragedy when he learned his father was diagnosed with cancer. His father passed away a short time later leaving Tyler's mom to raise her three young sons. As the eldest son, Tyler quickly matured and took on the responsibility of having to be the man of the house in order to help his mother and siblings. He attended West Tonka High School in Mound, Minnesota, where he excelled in Varsity Baseball and became All-State his senior year. After high school, he enrolled at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, to play baseball and worked in the summer as a landscaper on Lake Minnetonka. During his junior year, a friend encou
