Ian Cashmore

Ian Cashmore was born one month premature at Luton & Dunstable hospital on 28th May 1970 in Luton, Bedfordshire, UK. When he was four, his parents Ray Cashmore and Patricia Cashmore (nee Doyle) moved near to Leaveden Studios (famous for: Star Wars / Harry Potter / Lord of the Rings / Superman etc), Watford in Hertfordshire, and Ian spent the best part of the next 30 years in the area moving a further 5 times. At infant and junior level he attended Kingsway School in Garston, and completed his last Junior year at Watford Fields School in Watford. Ian then moved onto Senior level (high school) at Bushey Hall School, in Bushey. In 1987 Ian graduated to Watford College (now the University of Hertfordshire) where he studied photography, media and journalism. He also took a side course in television and video production.
