Biography

Jason Edward Von Stein is an American actor of English, German and Portuguese descent. He was born on September 18, 1982 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to accountant Rebecca Elisabeth Sayne and songwriter Jim Von Stein, who's work and influence has had a great impact on the actor's career. Jason attended Chattanooga State University where he studied Theatre and Media Communications while making a living as an aspiring actor, stand-up comedian and professional wrestler. His acting break was scoring a co-starring role alongside Greta Gerwig in the short film Quick Feet Soft Hands. The success led to several co-starring roles in movies and TV series such as MacGyver, Heavens Fall, and Drop Dead Diva. The career received a major boost with the role as a hitman, co-starring against Logan Marshall Green in the pilot of the Cinemax series Quarry.
