Hazem Samir

Hazem Samir was born in Cairo, Egypt and earned a bachelor degree in Tourism in 1998. During his university years, he fell in love with acting and discovered his true passion. He took many acting classes and starred in several university productions. This was the start of his career path into media production and acting. Hazem was fascinated with the movies & films industry so much that he became a production editor, working side by side with some of the best directors and producers in Egypt. He was an editor for 12 years and became one of the top editors in the country, while continuing to pursue his passion for acting. It was in 2012 that Hazem got his big break when he landed the lead role in the Egyptian remake of "Ugly Betty" known as "Heba Regl El Ghorab"...and this was the turning point of his acting career.
