Cassidy is the powerhouse former lead singer and main songwriter behind the all female rock quintet, Antigone Rising. (Lava/Atlantic Records) Known for their loyal fan base and non-stop touring schedule, AR released five independent albums before signing a record deal with Lava/Atlantic Records. They then landed the coveted, "Debut Artist" release with the mammoth coffee chain Starbucks in their newly formed, "Hear Music Series", a landmark deal that received global press. AR's album, 'From the Ground Up', reportedly had the highest sales for any artist within Warner Music Group during that summer and has gone on to sell upward of 1.5 Million copies. AR toured with The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Rob Thomas, The Allman's, as well as performed at prestigious festivals across the U.S. Cassidy gained national exposure in print and television campaigns for designer clothing company 7 Jeans.
