Aurora Fearnley

Aurora was born in Kent, England, UK but grew up in Stockport, Greater Manchester, England, UK. She is an actress and director who graduated from The Northern Film School in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, UK, with a First BA Degree. Her film career started with directing and editing, promos and commercials through her own company Little Northern Light, and she co-founded the production company Left Eye Blind. While signed to Academy Films, Aurora won the Epic award to direct the short film Life on the Line (2014). International festival success helped Aurora to win the Best Emerging Filmmaker award at The Smalls Film Festival, for her short psychological thriller Murmur (2015), which was commissioned by Directors UK. Shorts International bought her UKFC funded supernatural short Shades of Living (2011), while her Sci-fi Nokia Short Daniel (2011) premiered at Edinburgh IFF.
